LISANNE FRANSEN: FilmMediaExpo2020

Bengt Bok interviews graduate master stduent in FIlm and Media, Lisanne Fransen, before her exposition Pacific Patch People".

Pacific Patch People - A Climate-Fiction Story is a research project (1), world-building exploration (2) and short film (3) packaged all together. It tells the fictional story about a future civilisation that has settled down on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in the year 2120. With this story at its core, the threefold project explores if it is possible to tell a hopeful and inspiring narrative about a community living in a future world that is unhinged and disorganised by climate change.
